    How this list is ordered

Highest score out of 100 on real cost, rules, profit split, years operating and Trustpilot.

This is the full futures list: every futures prop firm that passes our ranking gate, ordered by its score out of 100. The score adds five parts: real cost (30), rules (30), profit split (20), years operating (10) and Trustpilot (10).

Each firm is scored on its best account, and the table names it, so a firm with a cheap small plan and a dear large one is judged on the one that scores best. A figure the firm doesn’t publish scores 0, so no firm climbs by leaving something out. Open any row to see how its score was built.

Real cost: the fee × 3 (or 3 months on a monthly plan) plus activation. Per $1K: that cost per $1,000 of max loss. A “+” means the activation fee isn’t on record, so the figure is a floor. A dash means it isn’t in our data yet.

    Questions about this list

What is the best futures prop firm?
On our score, DayTraders.com is the best futures prop firm right now: 78 of 100 on its scored account (Trail, $300K), ahead of Topstep (71) and Alpha Futures (64).
Why isn’t the cheapest firm always first?
Real cost is 30 of the 100 points. Rules (30), profit split (20), years operating (10) and Trustpilot (10) make up the rest, so a cheap firm with tight rules or a short record can sit below a dearer one. The cheapest list orders firms by real cost alone.
How is real cost worked out?
The evaluation fee × 3 (three attempts, or three months on a monthly plan), plus the activation fee charged when you pass, divided by the max loss and shown per $1,000, so plans of different sizes compare fairly. A plan that doesn’t publish its activation fee shows a floor, like “$450+”, and earns no cost points.
Which account is each firm scored on?
Its best one. Every plan and size is scored, and the firm takes the score of its best account that publishes a fee and a max loss and leaves no more than 2 of the 7 rules unpublished. The table names that account.
    How current is this list?
It was rebuilt on 6 Oct 2026 from firm data last checked on 5 Oct 2026. Each row shows when its firm’s data was last checked by hand. A firm leaves the ranking when its evaluation fees haven’t been confirmed in 45 days, by hand or by a read of its own pricing page that matched every evaluation fee we hold, or the rest of its data, activation fees and rules included, hasn’t been checked by hand in 90.
