The number that actually ranks them

A $99 evaluation on a $25K account costs more than a $300 one on $100K. This is the fee per $1,000 of funding, cheapest first. The futures challenge table puts each challenge’s real cost, profit target and max loss side by side.

    How we compare prop firms

    Best prop firms, ranked

Prices and account sizes are read from each firm’s own pages, and every change we apply is logged with its date. We track 80 prop firms the same way, and where a firm doesn’t publish something you see a dash, never a guess.

The price on the checkout page buys one attempt, not a funded account. So each challenge is priced the way you’ll actually pay: the fee times 3 attempts (3 months on a monthly plan), plus the activation fee charged when you pass. When a firm doesn’t publish its activation fee, the total carries a plus sign: it’s the least that route costs, and it never counts as the cheapest.

Rules are tagged by what they do to your odds of being paid: the target against the max loss, daily loss, consistency caps, minimum days, news and overnight limits. No firm pays to be listed or placed, and there are no affiliate links; we earn from Pro and Elite subscriptions. The methodology page sets out where every number comes from and how it’s checked.
